Gomoku

Connect exactly 5 of the same stones in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally).

Place your stone on any unoccupied intersection of the board. Strive to make a row of five stones in a row, either sideways, up and down, or at an angle. Stop your opponent from completing their own row of five. Alternate putting stones with your opponent until one participant succeeds in forming a row of 5. Note that the game ends immediately when a row of five is created, with no need to cover the entire board.
